  • Leeds Addiction Unit
    The Addiction Unit is part of Leeds Partnerships NHS Foundation Trust. Our purpose is to help people with combined problems of alcohol or drug misuse and mental illness, physical illness, or pregnancy. Every service user will have a care plan which is tailored to individual need and which will extend between three and 12 months. We encourage family and friends to be involved in the care plan.
  • National Drug Evidence Centre (NDEC)
    NDEC carries out epidemiological, evaluative and policy related research in the field of drug misuse, within the areas of health and criminal justice.
  • National Treatment Agency for Substance Misuse (NTA)
    The NTA is a special health authority within the NHS, established by Government in 2001 to improve the availability, capacity and effectiveness of treatment for drug misuse in England.

  • Scottish Drug Misuse Database - SMR25
    The Scottish Drug Misuse Database (SDMD) is an important and widely used national information source on the misuse of drugs in Scotland. The SDMD is based on systematic recording of a national dataset on clients seen at a broad range of services across Scotland. The database holds information on demographic and behavioural characteristics of new clients coming to the attention of medical services (general practice, hospital etc.) and specialist drug services (statutory and non-statutory).
